Printing · step by step

How a print
actually gets made.

Four steps, all in house. We send you a photo of the strike-off before the bulk run starts — no surprises on colour.

Colour separation

Your artwork is separated into spot colours and output as film positives — registration marks included.

Screen exposure02
Screen exposure

Emulsion-coated mesh is burned with UV. One screen per colour, burned and washed out in our darkroom.

Pulling the squeegee03
Pull the squeegee

Ink is pushed through the mesh by hand or carousel. Water-based for softness, plastisol for opacity.

Curing tunnel04
Cure & check

Each layer is cured before the next. We wash-test 3 pcs and photograph the strike-off for approval.
